Structure

The MA Programme focuses on the translation of both contemporary literary and functional texts. It is centred on providing vocational training for its students as future professional translators. The length of the MA is of 2 years, organized in 4 semesters with a total of 728 study hours. Out of 14 hours a week, 6 are workshops and 8 are courses.

Objectives:

  1. Enabling students to acquire high-level competences as literary and non literary professional translators.
  2. Developing student’s ability to acknowledge, recognise, and respond to changes in translation practices imposed by technological and market developments.
  3. Providing vocational training based on specific market requirements.
